With this economy....

I would have hoped and thought our government would be smart. But unfortunately no..

You see here in Canada the provincial government of my province has been the only one to not table a budget during this crisis. In fact they haven't sat in the house for months.

Then they finally released some details about their budget that the opposition had made clear months and months ago they would not support.

Well today, they didn't support it. Today the government fell and we go to the polls. The biggest financial crisis in history, and we're going to the polls...Money and contracts that were to be used for the building of new school will be delayed, but we will be going to the polls.

I can't wait to abstain from voting. No point voting for 3 groups of idiots.

Wrath of the Lich King Update

I have been playing the game for some time now so I guess its time to comment. In one word? Wow.

The developers have created an interesting continent and have added some new lore elements. For starters we see some elements from Warcraft 3 that I thought was an excellent touch.

Also the Ashbringer, a sword and person added to the game finally starts to flesh out though probably not how everyone thought or expected. You see you could get the sword as a legendary weapon called The Corrupted Ashbringer. Equipping the sword and going to the Scarlet Monastery caused an event to happen that I have to admit was pretty cool even though I never got to directly see it.

But rather then having a player go on a long quest to have Corrupted Ashbringer restored to the Ashbringer. Blizzard decided to let some NPCs have it. Darn.

To compensate once Arthas aka the Lich King is added as a raid boss into the game, he will on occasion drop Frostmourne. The counter to the ashbringer so I guess all is well.

Aside from the new local the new death knight class is fun to play. Its so far is overpowered but then again you do get to start at level 55 as a champion of the scourge. The starting quests also teach you your abilities and let you have a lot of fun...Every race can be a death knight but not everyone can have one. You must have a level 60 or higher character on the server already before you can create a deathknight. Blizzard will eventually open this up so you can make a deathknight on any server (provided you still have a level 60 character) but for now only on a server with your high level character.

The reason for this is to keep from having an explosion of death knights. Also why bother making any of the other classes if you can satrt at level 55?

I wish I could go into more details but then we'd be here for hours on end suffice to say. if you like online games and like world of warcraft go buy the expansion :)
